After completing the course, the applicant will write an original piece of work demonstrating an understanding of the complex issues of the illness and the practice and philosophy of Empatico.
Registration with an responsible governing body, appropriate supervision and Professional Indemnity Insurance must be in place prior to being accepted in the network.
Current members can be listed on a page of the website for no extra charge.

In order to maintain the highest standard of good and safe practice there will be an annual application for re-registration which will show Continuing Professional and Personal Development as well as appropriate supervision relevant to the number of hours worked or clients seen.
The assessment of ongoing development via the attendance of the refresher seminars as well as the Annual Conference will be a necessary requirement for re-registration as an integral part of CPD.

Each therapist in the network will be offered continuing support and supervision addressing training and client issues. This can be in the form of individual email or face to face wherever possible.
We can arrange conference calls on Skype of up to five people at a time. This can be a useful form of supervision and confidentiality can be maintained by not using names of clients.
Refresher seminars will be offered in the UK for those wishing to attend for a weekend. These will be held quarterly.
There will be an Annual Conference where issues and discoveries about the practical application of the training can be discussed in an open forum.
A free, password protected chat room will be available to allow practitioners to discuss issues and experiences, and to help address the sense of isolation that many practitioners experience.
The issues of supervision and support will be regularly assessed to ensure that they will address the needs of the Network and the requirements of Emaptico.
